Sour Cream and Yogurt Facials
The lactic acid in these dairy products help remove dirt and dead
cells from your skin, while moderate amounts of fat mildly moisturize
complexions of all types. Simply smooth a cup of the creamy
stuff over your face and relax for 10 minutes, then rinse off with
lukewarm water.
Sugar Body Scrub
For a gentle head to toe buff job, mix a cup of white granulated sugar
with warm water to make a paste, then use fingers or a washcloth to
work it over skin.
Sugar is gentle enough to use on your face too. mix it with your
favorite cleanser and gently massaging it in.
Hair Conditioner
Comb a tablespoon or two of mayonnaise though
damp hair, leave on for 10 to 15 minutes, then shampoo out and style.
For a lighter conditioning, a spoonful of honey instead of mayo.
Manicure
Soak fingertips in olive oil for several minutes, then use orange
stick to push back cuticles. Wipe off excess oil then buff
nail to a healthy shine.

Scented Bath Salts
1 cup Epsom Salts
6 drops essential oil (your favorite)
4 drop of food coloring
Place in a clean sterilized jar.
Hair Conditioner

1/2 cup honey
2 Tbs olive oil
Leave on for 20 minutes

3 egg yolks
1/4 cup mayo

1 banana
1 avocado
1 Tbs olive oil
Body Scrub
Combine cornmeal with a little water to scrub elbows, feet and any
dull rough skin.
Face Mask
Oatmeal and Honey Mask
1 Tbs uncooked oatmeal
1 Tbs warm water
1 tsp dried lavender
1 tsp honey
Good for oily skin. Leave on for 20 minutes and rinse with cool
water.
Peel-Off Facial Mask
1 packet unflavored gelatin
1/2 cup orange juice
Combine ingredients. Heat gently to dissolve gelatin. Cool
mixture. spread on face. Let dry and peel off staring at
the forehead.
