Home made Fertilizer
Fertilizer from your blender with just about everything including vegetable
peelings, fruit peelings, egg shells. Blend them up and pour around
plants.
Banana skins have a lot of potash in them bury them around your
plants especially roses
For extra potash add two to three tablespoon of wood ashes into a gallon of
water
Hair is rich in nitrogen dig in around plants
Grind up Chicken Bones they make bone meal faster then any other
bones.
Plants need three essential elements for plant growth
They are:
Nitrogen - It is needed for both the vegetative and reproductive stages
of growth. Plants that are lacking nitrogen are dwarfed and the leaves
turn form green to yellow to brown
Phosphorus - It aids root development and stimulated flower and seed
production. Plants that are lacking phosphorus are dwarfed. Foliage
is a dark dull green areas between veins on leaf sometimes turn purple.

Potash - It is a general conditioner that helps hastens maturity and seed
production and aids in root development.. Plants that are lacking potash have
the look of mottled yellow and green foliage and sometimes it drops off.
