Cookie Recipe:
1/2 cup margarine
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 cup rolled oats
2/3 cup flour
1/4 tsp salt
3/4 cup chocolate chips
Beat butter and sugar and egg until light and fluffy. Mix in vanilla and other dry ingredients. Stir in rolled oats and chocolate chips. Drop by spoonfuls on a cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for 8-10 minutes

Cake Mix Cookies
1 white layer cake mix
1/2 cup oil
2 eggs
1 cup chocolate chips
Mix together. Add chocolate chips. bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 350 for 10 minutes. You may substitute flavors of cake mix and add nuts, raisins, etc.

Whipped Shortbread
1 lb butter
1 Cup icing sugar
2 1/2 cups flour
1/2 cup cornstarch
Cream butter until fluffy. Add sugar and cream together for 2 min. Sift the flour and cornstarch and put into separate bowl. Add flour mixture gradually to butter mixture and beat until fluffy and mixture breaks, approximately 2 min.
Put into preheated oven at 325 F and bake until edges turn light golden brown.
